System Requirements Review Outline Mission Statement Market/Customers Competition Use-case Scenarios Design Missions System Requirements Benchmarking Conclusion 2

Mission Statement Our mission is to use creativity to develop innovative solutions and improvements that will revolutionize the aerospace industry. Our aircraft is designed to fly short to medium range routes with ESTOL capabilities. Our goal is to utilize secondary airports, allowing an increase in passenger traffic. The aircraft will also be light, durable, efficient, eco-friendly and cost effective. 3

Design Mission Our interpretation of “next-generation DC-3” aircraft: Our aircraft will be similar to original DC-3 by being durable, reliable and having a short range. Original DC-3 featured cargo and passenger versions 4

Customer Needs Intended Customers and Their Needs Commercial Airlines, interested in utilizing short distance flights to less congested airports. Cargo Companies that need to move cargo to airports with smaller runways. Department of Civil Aviation in Asia/Europe Customer Benefit Avoid congested airports Minimize airport delays Quicker commuting to and from airports Shorter idle time at airports 5

Market Size and Investments Intended Income Flow Sale of Aircraft, Investors, Overall training, Copyrighted Merchandise Product Unit Single Airplane Sole-Source and/or Systems Integrator Self Serviced / Maintained Aircraft Estimated Total Sales 10,000 aircraft @ $40 M/unit (2008) Expected Market Share 33% 6

Competition Competitors (2038 – 2058) Aircraft Manufacturers -Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Canadair, Embraer, GulfStream High Speed Underground Metro and Rail Systems NeXT generation of Watercrafts, speed boats and yachts. Quantum Teleportation Strengths and Weaknesses Short takeoff & landings Widening the flight market Cost Savings Eco Friendly Economically Challenging Long-range capabilities 7

Designing to Meet Customer Needs Transport 125-150 passengers up to 1000 nmi Cargo companies that need to transport up to 35,000 pound payload up to 1000 nmi range Can be used for charters requiring short to medium length runways. 8
