A Shortcut to Reusable Clean Water From Sanitary Wastewater!
3
Sanitary Wastewater Concentrator Introduction Our system extracts water for reuse and therefore sends less wastewater to the treatment plant! This saves time and money ----- Fewer pipes, less Pumping, smaller treatment plants, and lower total costs! The EcoLiveGreen patented Sanitary Wastewater Concentrator (SWC) is a Wastewater process system located at a strategic position upstream of a regional biological treatment facility, along the sewer main at the point of excessive hydraulic loading. The SWC takes a portion of the raw sanitary wastewater, recovers water for reuse, and reintroduces the concentrated solids back into the collection system for transport to the treatment plant.
4
Introduction WHAT IS THE SWC? The Problem – Collection System COLLECTION SYSTEM OVERLOAD Original Engineering Design did not anticipate future required capacities. Therefore, with new additional wastewater flow collection main may be overloaded. Problems and Concerns: Major disruptions to the local community infrastructure during constructionMajor disruptions to the local community infrastructure during construction May not be cost effectiveMay not be cost effective Replace sewer main with one of larger capacityReplace sewer main with one of larger capacity Install duplicate sewer main beside original mainInstall duplicate sewer main beside original main

How It Works Diagram 1.A portion of the flow in the Raw Wastewater Main is diverted to the SWC. 2.The untreated wastewater is directed by pump into the Voraxial separator. 3.The Voraxial separator divides the flow into two factions. 4.The two factions are the recovered water portion and the concentrated sewerage portion. 5.The concentrated portion is returned to the Raw Wastewater Main. 6.The recovered water portion enters the UF Membrane Polisher. 7.The UF Membrane Polisher divides the recovered water into two factions. 8.The two factions are the permeate (product water) and the concentrate. 9.The concentrate contains the organics, etc. that the voraxial separator did not remove. 10.The product water is further treated with a disinfectant for protection against microbial growth. In some cases it may be desirable to treat with UV (Ultra Violet light) and/or ozone. 11.The water is then taken to storage awaiting reuse.
