2 Powerpoint Templates Page 2 What is MLA? MLA stands for the Modern Language Association and they provide a method for sourse documentation that is used in most humanities courses. MLA places the emphasis on the author of a work. If an author is unknown, the citation always begins with the title of the work.

3 Powerpoint Templates Page 3 What is an Anthology? An ANTHOLOGY is a compilation of works combined into a single volume. These works may be by a single author or they may be by various authors. There is generally a theme or concept that incorporates all the works within a single anthology.
