6. Divorce is a sin God hates, like all other sins. Fear can destroy your soul, and God do not give us a spirit of fear. Shame and a feeling of failure can destroy your dreams and home/family. Repentance and a daily relationship with God is the only way to restoration. Children will be divided between parents and will go through tough, emotional times. Rejection from family, friends, church and society is likely. Your health and that of your children will be affected. You will face unexpected responsibilities alone and unprotected. Your income will decrease and your belongings likely divided. You will enter the cruel legal world, where money speaks louder than morals. Family gatherings will become awkward events. One of the leading factors contributing towards the high mortality rate of the Aids pandemic is the devastatingly, demoralizing effect contracting the disease has on the mind and emotional stability of the patient, as well as his/her loved- ones and dependants.
