12 A Level Reform Modular to linear A Levels - a phased introduction: 11 subjects are already linear and started in September 2015 (Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computing, Economics, English Language, English literature, History, Physics and Psychology) 9 additional subjects from September 2016 – (Drama, Geography, French, German, Spanish, Music, Music Tech, PE and Religious Studies) Assessment – all units studied in Years 12 and 13 are assessed at the end of Year 13. External exams at the end of Year 12, stand-alone AS levels, but these will not contribute to final grade at A Level.

18 Mark Boyer Year 13 student Joined Little Heath Sixth Form in September 2014 Studying: A2s in Drama, History, Philosophy and Ethics and Mathematics. Also studying an EPQ in the legal system of ancient Athens. Hopes to study Law at the university of York.

19 How To Apply Deadline for all online applications forms by or before: Friday 11 th December Rising Sixth Surgery: Monday 30 th November to Thursday 3 rd December 3.30-5.00pm – opportunity to discuss your subjects choices and find out more from the Sixth Form team.

20 How to apply You will have an interview to discuss your choices with you and to confirm that they are the most suitable for you. The interviews will start in the week beginning: Monday 11 th January 2016 and appointments will be issued via your tutors. The interviews for external candidates will start in the week beginning: Monday 25th January
