10 Divided Kingdom Jeroboam revolts with ten tribes (North) Rehoboam left with two tribes (South) Israel and Judah—a nation divided! Wicked kings in the North; captivity in Assyria in 722 B.C. Wicked kings in Judah; 135 years later (586 B.C.), Judah went into Babylonian captivity. A remnant would return in 70 years.
