Be the best you can be Triple Award Science GCSE All students will have six lessons a week of Science in Years 10 and 11. This leads to the Double Award Science GCSE qualification. 3 exams will be taken at end of Year 10 and 3 exams will be taken at the end of Year 11. This will lead to the Double Award in Science = 2 GCSEs You can go on to study AS and A Levels in Science subjects

Be the best you can be Triple Award Science GCSE For students who really enjoy and have a talent for Science you can choose Triple Award as one of your options instead of one of the subjects you currently study. You will have an additional 3 lessons a week of Science as well as the 6 lessons that are part of the Core You will have nine exams but they will all be at the end of Year 11 You will get three separate qualifications – Biology, Chemistry & Physics

Be the best you can be Triple Award Science GCSE Triple Award is not an option for all students You need to be in either Set 1 or Set 2 You need to be a certain level You need to discuss with your Science teacher and/or Mrs Simpson – Head of Science. Mrs Simpson will be at Parents’ Evening between 4:30 and 5:30 if your parents wish to get further advice

Maybe you want to be a multi-millionaire like Richard Branson or Oprah Winfrey. Perhaps you aren’t quite so ambitious? However over 25 million people in the UK work in some kind of business. Its is particularly relevant if you want work in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance or set up your own business. Business Studies is useful if you want to study Business Studies, Accounts or Economics A Level. This is an exciting course which allows students to learn how to interact with young children, and they will have the opportunity to carry out a variety of practical investigations.
