There are no scholarships given, however we do offer fundraising opportunities. All students who are going to Washington, DC can raise all or part of their remaining balance through fundraising. Mrs. Bruner will be sending home fundraising information soon. The fundraiser will be all online so you have no money to collect or orders to deliver. People buying from you will do so online.
16
There will be a website where people can go and do their shopping. When they get there, they will choose your child’s name to support and then do their shopping. Your child will get 40% of what they sell deducted from the balance of their trip. Here is a sample of a fundraising page: http://my.fundraising.com/BackstageDanceCompetitveTeam
17
Attendance on this trip is based upon students conducting themselves appropriately throughout the school year. Any Out of School Suspensions will automatically disqualify your child from participation. Students exhibiting problematic behaviors will be addressed on an individual basis by teachers and an administrator. Problematic behaviors are those that cause the student to have a “Classroom Management Referral Form” written, ISS on more than one occasion, as well as poor school attendance. (Problematic behaviors are not limited to those mentioned.)
18
Students who are disqualified or unable to go will lose all or part of the money for the trip as the cost is based upon number of students going. All students disqualified or unable to attend after October 4 and before February 7, 2013 will forfeit the initial deposit. Students disqualified or unable to go after February 7, 2014 will forfeit all money paid to that point. Students not going on the trip will attend school as usual.
