3 Situation  You are a recent graduate of St. Cloud Public Schools. You move out of your parents place because you are 18 and are planning to work to support yourself. You are living alone in a one bedroom apartment trying to make ends meet.

5 Wants  Cell Phone:  Phone:  Cable:  Internet:  Health Insurance:  Car:  Car Insurance:

6 Wants Continued  Tuition for Education:  Dates / Movies / Out to Dinner / Other Entertainment:  Others?

7 The Cost of Bad Habits  Smoking:  Alcohol:  Drug Use / Abuse:

8 What kind of money do you need to make?  Add up all of the things you need and want. That total is how much your bills are.  Multiply that total by.25, that is the percentage of tax you will pay when you have an income.  Add the tax to the total of your bills. This is the amount you need to make in order to pay for your bills.

9 How much do you need to make per hour?  40 hrs per week times 4 weeks in a month equals 160 hours per month.  Take your total and divide it by 160. That will equal how much per hour you need to make, MINIMUM.
