HAAKE MiniJet – Micro Injection Moulding
Injection moulding machine for producing small test specimens like tensile bar, impact bars and disks The injection moulding machine can be used in combination with the Haake MiniLab, but also as a stand-alone machine Numerical controlled 2 Temperatures (reservoir and mould) Pressure controlled Procedure controlled 1. Injection pressure & duration, 2. Post pressure & duration All parameters can be stored (10 recipies) Language: English, German, French Units: bar, psi - °C, F, K Improved handling No pressing lever necessary (required for horizontal design) Easy filling of pellet samples Increased performance Same injection pressure from 40% less feeding pressure! Tmax: 400°C (container) Tmax: 250 °C (mould)

MiniLab Counter Rotating Screws
Intermeshing counter rotating screws are most effective to improve results melt extrusion of multi wall carbon nanotube composites. Due to higher shear agglomerates are well distributed. New sensor and feed ports expand possibilities
½“ UNF port (upper barrel half) for non return valve e.g. liquid or gas injection Counter rotating screws recommended ½“ UNF port opposite to 2. Pressure port (upper barrel half) e.g. UV – curing, NIR p1 p2 The extruder has two operation modes: The bypass valve is set to the cycle mode and the material is flowing through the backflow channel. So the residence time of the material inside of the extruder can be controlled. The backflow channel is housing two pressure transducers which can give us rheological information during the extrusion process. The details on that will follow at the end of this presentation. The bypass valve is set to flush mode. The material will flow out through the output channel. The extruded material can either be collected as a strand, or a little mould for a small injection moulding machine can be filled.
