26 FFA Update – Fall 2012 FFA Membership –Rosters open for 2012-13 use on September 6 –Rosters are accessed through the AgCareer Network –AgCN accounts (usernames and logins) available from Region Directors if you don’t have them already –Dues for 2012-13 are $11 ($4 state & $7 national) –Affiliation option is available (contact the state FFA office by September 1, to Affiliate) –Rosters and dues are due by October 15 –If you want FFA membership cards for your students, contact the state FFA Office

67 FLORAL DESIGN Area CDE –Please look at the updated information marked “new” on the Ag Ed website under Floral Design CDE info. –Seniors will complete one design, take a 25 question written exam, and complete an identification quiz of 25 items. –Possible arrangements for seniors could include bridal or attendant bouquet (hand-tied or nosegay); corsage; or circular, triangular or line arrangement. –30 minutes for the design, 25 minutes for exam and 25 minutes for quiz. –Juniors will complete two designs. –Possible arrangements for juniors could include Corsage, Boutonniere, Bud Vase, or a 9 flower round arrangement (greenery, 9 carnations and filler material). –30 minutes allowed for each design.
