4 THE REASON BEHIND THE SELECTION OF THIS PRODUCT…

5 Malaysia has been one of the world’s most renowned countries for its multi-racial community rich with its culture and food. As technology keeps growing through time, the process of food making is also evolving; people keep creating new recipes, some of it may be improvising their traditional cuisine with a touch of modern taste. By taking our product as an example, Muslim Homemade Coated Spring Rolls is a locally owned snack food which is a variant of the traditional vegetable spring rolls, made from fried spring roll pastry wrap covered in different kinds of flavour which satisfies the customers’ taste buds. We produce coated spring rolls which range from three main flavours that are of high demand; chocolate, Nestum or a mixture of both. Muslim Homemade Coated Spring Rolls provides a combination of excellent food at value pricing, with ‘sweet and simple’ packaging. Located in a small town in Ipoh, Perak, Muslim Homemade Coated Spring Rolls is the answer to an increasing demand for this type of snack food, to be consumed while relaxing or watching a movie, as an alternative for consumers who wants a new twist to their snacks rather than the usual such as popcorn. Besides fulfilling our customers’ needs around Ipoh, we also provide online purchase from all over Malaysia. Our main priority is to be one of the most established online brands in Malaysia and become one of the most highly demanded snack food of all time. Later, our effort will be a further development of a few outlets in shopping malls before trying to enter the international market in the future.

6 MISSION, VISION & OBJECTIVES

7 MISSION Providing Malaysian consumers with homemade coated spring rolls ranges from three well-loved flavours (chocolate, Nestum, chocolate Nestum). Providing online purchases across the country and delivery services around the town of Ipoh Muslim Homemade Coated Spring Rolls will be a partnership business structure. The goal is to start as inexpensively as possible with no debt financing. Muslim Homemade Coated Spring Rolls will be a home-office start-up, utilizing the kitchen and living room in the owners’ home. Our implementation plan for producing our coated spring rolls is both cost effective and efficient. We will purchase our materials – spring roll pastry wraps, chocolate powder, plastic jars and others – from wholesale markets in bulk, produce our own snacks and test our product before starting to produce in a big mass. In marketing and selling the product, we plan to seek advice from experienced people in this field. The total estimated cost for the start-up of our business is RM5000, not including mark up. The financing, in addition to the capital contributions from shareholders, will allow us to successfully open and expand through year two.
