4 STATION ONE: UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING Differentiation and UDL benefits: o Increase in student academic performance in classroom and test o Increase of technology understanding o Create better learning opportunities Interaction: o looking and listening to an audio/visual presentation o engage in a hands on lesson o speak with educational professionals o Take home brochures

5 STATION 2: TECHNOLOGY AND UDL FOR ALL LEARNERS Mission: The mission of our educational program is to promote technology integration and career and technical education based on UDL principles for learners from early childhood through adulthood. Belief: The belief is that with implementing our mission we can produce citizens prepared to be highly qualified for a competitive global economy. Goals: - to provide proper materials and education to support all learners - to utilize technology to increase understanding and learning experiences

7 STATION 3: 21ST-CENTURY SKILLS ACQUISITION AND EMPLOYABILITY Course: Waterford Early Learning- online 21st-century skill the course address: Content Knowledge and 21st Century Themes: Waterford reinforces core math and reading skills for students (Partnership for 21st Century Skills). Learning and Innovation Skills: The program is designed to build core skills and teach students how to apply them to critical thinking and problem solving situations (Partnership for 21st Century Skills). Information, Media and Technology Skills: Waterford is an online program that supports technology literacy skills because students have to have knowledge of using the computer and internet in order to access the site (Partnership for 21st Century Skills). Life and Career Skills: These applications will support future employability by giving students the skills and resources to be competitive in a global 21 st century economy.

8 STATION 3: 21ST-CENTURY SKILLS ACQUISITION AND EMPLOYABILITY Tools: Computers, tablet, I-pad, internet, smart board Interaction: o Attendees will try out applications and games that will be useful for learning. o Increase their interest and appreciation for educational use of technology because they will be able to see how beneficial these tools are to a learning environment, student engagement, and differentiation. o New Technology: School programs, courses, and students would benefit from upgraded technology from approved bond because they will be able to receive more specialized and differentiated education and they will have technology skills which will be useful in a higher education environment and future employment opportunities.
