2. Let’s Get to Know Mrs. Staub! I have my BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from Shippensburg University. 3. More About Mrs. Staub! I grew up in Delaware and I love to spend time at the shore. When I am not wearing my heels, you can find me in my flip-flops, reading on the beach! I enjoy spending time with my family, husband, and friends. I love coffee! I enjoy working on our house (and decorating), shopping, cooking, and traveling to new places. Most of all, I absolutely love teaching!

8. What does Guided Reading look like in our classroom? The teacher works with small groups of students who use similar reading strategies and/or read similar levels of text with teacher support Students then read the book individually while the teacher listens in, providing support, and observing areas of strength and areas to provide support and teaching Other students are working independently at various classroom literacy centers while the teacher is meeting with guided reading groups
