Tier 3: Intensive supplemental academic & behavioral supports for 5% of students Tier 2: Supplemental targeted academic & behavioral supports for 10-15% of students Tier 1: Academic & behavioral supports for all students. SFSCD plays a key role in the district’s implementation of A Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS). A unified model of service delivery that Integrates Response to Intervention for academics and RtI for behavior Which: recognizes the reciprocal influence academic performance and social/emotional/behavior performance has on each other

Coaches to support your site on the journey This year QAP coaches are assigned to all ExCEL school sites. The Coaches will 1)support the development of the Quality Action Plan, 2)provide another set of eyes on your program, 3)help to facilitate your site team’s reflection and learning.

Quality Action Plan (QAP) Continuous Cycle of Improvement Plan with Data to develop QAP Goals Analyze Site Data, complete a Self - Assessment, and use reflective coaching questions to develop intentional Quality Action Plan Goals. Monitor and Assess What’s Working Conduct a Program Walkthrough to see what youth experience and if your intentional practices are creating the desired experiences. Complete a Mid Year Progress Report to track progress towards goals and reflect on challenges and accomplishments. Site Team Planning and Reflection Meeting Each site team including principal, Academic Liaison, CBO Director and site coordinator will meet to reflect on the year’s progress and consider plans for next year.
