3 READ ME Not all of the slides in this file will play during a slideshow. DO NOT delete any of the provided slides. But, you will need to duplicate some of the Question slides to create your own questions. Seven different question formats are provided. Creating new questions: Located the slide with the type of question you want. Use Insert | Duplicate Slide to make a copy and alter the text boxes to reflect your text. Additional instruction can be found on each question format slide.

4 READ ME Slide Order: Add all of your question slides after slide 6 and before the last slide (Game Over Slide). The Scoreboard and Game Over slides should be the first and last slides in your game show. The first 4 slides will not appear in your game as they are hidden and will not show when a slideshow is started. Note: If you leave slideshow view, the scores will be reset to zero.

5 READ ME If you are using PowerPoint 2007, you should also save it as a.PPTX format to take advantage of all of the features of the new version of PowerPoint. Using Game Buttons: From the Scoreboard screen, press the “First Question” button to start a new game. After revealing the correct answer (Correct Answer button), return to the Scoreboard to adjust the score. Now press the “Return to Question” button to return to your last question and click “Next Question”. This will allow you to continue through the quiz in order. Click the red, green, yellow or blue scoreboard buttons to increase a team’s score by 100. Select the next team to answer using the spinner or simply rotate teams in order. To operate the spinner, click once to start, and a second time to stop. (Note: You may have to wait a second or two The spinner to stop).

6 Copyrighted © 2007 Training Games, Inc. ADDING OTHER FILES TO A QUESTION You can add another PPS, any other file or a URL to a particular question. On the button labeled Title, right click and select Action Settings… Select Hyperlink to and select another PPS, any other file or a URL. When pasted to a question slide, this button will start the selected file. Change the Title to reflect your own title. Title Opens any other file on your computer. Opens another PowerPoint. Save this file as a PPS to have it open in Slideshow mode. Opens a Website if connected to the internet.
