2. We have already learned one way to talk about the future.  You can use Ir + a + infinitive  Vamos a estudiar en la biblioteca. We are going to study in the library.  Mañana, voy a escalar montañas. –Tomorrow, I am going to climb mountains. . Vamos a navegar por internet. We are going to surf the internet.

3. Today we are going to learn another form of the future tense.  In English we say going to or will. In Spanish we can also use going to or will to express future. We are going to learn the tense that uses WILL instead of GOING TO.  Estudiaremos en la biblioteca. We will study in the library.  Mañana, escalaré montañas. –Tomorrow, I will climb mountains. . Navegaremos por internet. We will surf the internet.

4. Today we are going to learn how to form the future tense. You form the future tense by adding a special set of endings to the infinitive  You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. Hablar-to speak é ás á emos éis án hablaré hablarás hablará hablaremos hablaréis hablarán All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense: -er, -ir, -ar verbs

5. Today we are going to learn how to form the future tense. You form the future tense by adding a special set of endings to the infinitive  You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. 8. The dreadful irregulars! With some verbs, you have to change the form of their infinitive slightly before adding the future tense endings. Here are the irregulars. Infinitives Future Stem DecirDir- Hacerhar- Ponerpondr- Salirsaldr- Tenertendr- Venirvendr- Poderpodr- Quererquerr- Sabersabr- I will do my homework. Yo haré mi tarea. They will tell the truth. Ellos dirán la verdad. We will not have homework. ¡No tendremos tarea!

9. Irregulars  You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. Decir-to say (c—r) é ás á emos éis án diré dirás dirá diremos X dirán All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense: -er, -ir, -ar verbs

10. Irregulars  You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. Hacer-to do é ás á emos éis án haré harás hará haremos X harán All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense: -er, -ir, -ar verbs

11. Irregulars  You add these endings to the infinitive of any verb. Poner- to put or place é ás á emos éis án pondré pondrás pondrá pondremos X pondrán All verbs have the Same endings In the future Tense: -er, -ir, -ar verbs
