WHAT’S NEW OR CHANGED Clarification on District Testing Windows: Make-up testing must be scheduled during the District Test Window SCDE will not approve an Alternate Testing Window for make-up testing. Beginning with Spring 2016, students will be allowed to use calculators on the biology test. Please see the calculator policy on page 18 of the TAM. Actions for IEP violations that occur during online testing Please see page 8 in the TAM for new clarification. Test session durations in TAM Test durations for 95 th percentile shown on page 17. Afternoon test sessions must be scheduled with sufficient time to allow students to finish testing in one day. Failure to provide sufficient time is a test security violation. 6
7
WHAT’S NEW OR CHANGED Process for unlocking Online Test Tickets The SCDE will not need to approve ticket unlocks for the following instances: Make-up testing due to student illness. District/school power or internet outage. Students that test over multiple days due to their IEP Plan. The SCDE will still need to approve unlock requests for instances where students did not have sufficient time to finish their test. Students who test with emergency forms will now receive ISRs and student labels. Scores for these tests will also be included in the preliminary rosters. The preliminary rosters will indicate that an Emergency form was used, while ISRs and student labels will not. 7
