4 2016 Competition Dates Junior football season starts on the weekend of April 2 nd / 3 rd. Registration form for on-line entries will be sent out 19 th February Travel League entries close on the 4 th March Local league entries close on the 11 th March Aim to have the first weeks draw up by the 22 nd March

5 Staff Changes Operations Manager – Lisa Jones - Senior Competitions - Overall responsibility for all operational areas (Seniors/Juniors/Futsal) Junior Competitions and Communication Manager – Angela Eglinton - Junior Competitions (including Girls Only) - All Communication for Capital Football

6 2016 Regulation Changes Referees 10 th – 12 th Grade Travel league teams now require a referee with an Introduction to Refereeing qualification 13 th – 14 th Grade Travel League teams still require a Level 1 qualified referee Travel Leagues Travel league to be re-named Premier League Teams will start the season in the same division they finished the previous season in (after promotion/relegation) Clubs can enter two teams in to the Premier Leagues, however there will be an option after the first round to add a third team if this team is top of the local league. This applies for that season only and will revert back to two the following season There will be the option for the bottom team in Premier 3 to go into the relevant local league at the end of the first round

7 Goalnet Update Introduction of National Registration Form (NRF): - standardise process across Feds - collect accurate data - Allows rollout of member profiles in future Mandatory for all clubs to use from 2016 onwards for every player registration Clubs can make additions to the NRF based on their information needs for registration details

8 Goalnet Update What this means for clubs? No longer able to ‘roll-over’ membership database from previous seasons. No facility to manually add member directly into club database. Can only be registered using the NRF. Any questions can be directed to Renee at Federation level or Tobi Agdebi at NZF for National Queries.

9 Goalnet Update- Payments Capital Football can help set up clubs to use this in 2016 Small fee for Credit Card payments. Club decides whether to absorb cost or pass onto user. Clubs only need to produce deposit slip to set-up then ready to take all payments through Goalnet. Fast and easy way to collect payments, from season fees to apparel orders etc.

11 Federation Talent Centre CF staff attended 200 FTC sessions in 2015 All FTC coaches have been videoed for coach education Goal of two coaches per age group – 50% in 2014 & 80% 2015 Three teams travelled to Sydney – first overseas trip for four years Full syllabus in place across the age groups with reports for objective feedback All trials are now complete and we are currently reviewing the structure of the programme with New Zealand Football – any changes to what we have will be communicated in advance to clubs CF will notify clubs of those players selected for the 2016 programme prior to Christmas.

19 Girls’ Only Winter & Summer League Changes for 2016 Pitch and goal sizes will now be the same in the relevant boys and girls competitions.

26 Why has there been a (small) increase to Fees? Reduction in NZ Football Funding Fixed costs spread over projected decrease in team entries

27 Where did we make the changes? Seniors – increased by 1.4% (2 x CPI of 0.7% for 2014 and 2015) Juniors – will be paying 83% real cost, previously 78% NZ Football – increased by 1.4% (projected CPI by Treasury Dept)
