Mary Read Mary Read –Another women on Calico Jacks ship –The too became fast friends and were known for their ruthlessness –When Captain Rackham's ship was taken over the two women were not executed and because they were both pregnant, so they were sent to jail –Read later died in jail from hay fever Captain John Rackham (Calico Jack) Captain John Rackham (Calico Jack) –The two traveled the world, and fought side by side for many years before their capture.
