2. Economic Shifts ●After WW1 the economic began to slip down hill ●Most soldiers lost their Jobs ●People who didn’t go to war took the soldirs jobs Women, and African American worked with the absence of White Males.

3. Economic Shifts ●Farmers production went up with the Wars needs ●Factory production went up as well ●But after the War there was less needs for all the materials so production began to decrease, causing the loss of jobs to many ●1919-1921 farming income fell by 60%

4. Changing Population In 1920 the population was 106,461,000. In 1929 the population was 121,767,000. A total change of about 15,000,000 more people in 9 years During 1917 an immigration Law was passed causing less people to be aloud to come to America.

5. Immigration Effects ●As there were more Immigrants coming into America, we made a law in 1917 causing immigrants not to be able to come to America ●In 1925 more workers were needed but Americans wanted less immigrants to come in to America ●In 1929 America’s congress made Illegal immigration a criminal offence

6. Ending Changes After the law passed in 1917 it made it so it was harder for Immigrants to get accepted into America. After WW1 Farmers had less to produce because they did not have to help the War cause anymore. Soldiers After WW1 had a harder time to find jobs after the War was over. This is one of the causes for the great depression.
