Lately, extreme sports and tourism nbecame popular because of the experience and stronger emotions. The product of extreme sports tourism reveals opportunities to meet new recreational needs of tourists. Sport tourism is practiced by land, air, water, and underground.

Air extreme sports and tourism It concerns: * Gliding - Paragliding * Parachuting

Paragliding It is simple and accessible form of flying. Paragliding is a device like a parachute. The weight of all equipment of a pilot is 15-17 kg. Paragliders are flown out of almost all peaks in the world, including Everest.

Over the past 10 years Paragliding marks extremely rapid development. Only in Bulgaria the number of paraglider are more than 1000 people and is constantly growing.

Tere are over 30 flying sites in Bulgaria. The best place for practising is in Sopot. Vitosha is difficult target for inexperienced pilots - stones and trees make all this stressful.' There are mistakes in maps for amateur drivers, there aren’t prohibited areas to fly there.

Paragliding Clubs * The most popular international organization of paragliding is PWCA (Paragliding World Cup Association), which organizes between 4 and 6 races each year to determine the winner of World Cup. * Bulgaria Paragliding clubs are: Operator (Airsport), Sofia Gayding club,'' Okolchitsa - Vratsa Club,'' Mistral - Burgas Club, Migration'' - Varna and others.

Risks Pilots must undergo mandatory training with profesional instructor. The limits of the age in Bulgaria are from 8 to 70 years. Weight limits are from 30 to 160 kg. Important for paragliders are concentration, coordination and self discipline.

Parachuting There are several groups of modern parachting courses: * Classic * Relative * Dome acrobatics * New free courses * Para-ski

Classic parachuting It concerns the oldest disciplines in parachuting. It covers the acrobatic jump goal and the single jump. The height of airplane flying is between 800 and 1000 m, and the absolute goal, which the parachutist must do is a circle with 3 cm diameter. Accuracy of performance is achieved by using a special tapered heel of the shoe.

Relative parachuting THe participants form complex shapes in free fall. The most important things are speed and cleanliness of the implementation of the figures. Formal competitions are carried out by 4, 8 and 16-members.

Dome acrobatics It is also group discipline, but it is different from relative jumps because of its open domes. It consists in forming shapes or changing locations of participants.

New free disciplines It includes most recently emerging and established disciplines, distinguished primarily by the spectacular performance. Work is in freefall jumps and they are performed from the greatest height. It includes Freestyle, and Skaysarf Friflay.

Differences between paragliding and parachuting Paragliding is similar to a parachute, but it is closer to gliders than the parachute. Parachute is intended to slow the fall of an object.

Rock climbing As a sport it has both individual and collective character. It is known by many varieties in international tourism practice : bouldering, climbing artificial rock, free climbing, traditional climbing, solo climbing, coastal ice climbing, mountain climbing (climbing altitude).

Bouldering and climbing on artificial walls It is rock climbing on small clusters, not higher than 2-3 meters without ropes. Because of the small height loads are intensive in time dimension and technical character. It is performed in a room or outdoors on specially designed walls, with varying degrees of difficulty. The Halls of climbing are particularly suitable for controlling the work with ropes and all the basic moves needed for climbing on natural rock.

Traditional and free climbing In free climbing climb takes place only through the hands and feet, while the equipment is protective in nature. A climbing is considered 'onside'' when climber pass route for the first time without watching other climbers in the same place. In traditional climbing, climbers use their own inventory for insurance - frendoves, clamps, cams and other devices that are placed in rock cracks and holes without damaging the rock.

We believe that our business concept will contribute in improving the welfare of our families and Berkovitsa as a whole. Photographs are taken from the head of the club.
