8. 300,000 children are involved in fighting

9. “I am the bread of life”

10. 100 million children are on the street

11. “I am the gate”

12. 1.2 million are trafficked each year

13. “I am the good shepherd”

14. Christian carers bring Jesus’ love

15. “I am the way, the truth and the life”

16. 15.2 million are orphaned by HIV/AIDS

17. “I am the true vine”

18. We are chosen to bear fruit

19. Lord Jesus, Thank you for your love for every child in every nation of the world. Thank you for dying and rising again for each one of them, bringing hope and life. We have come together to pray for the 1.2 billion children at risk in the world today. 2007 Prayer for Children at Risk 

20. Light of the world, shine into lives trapped in the darkness of abuse and exploitation. Bread of life, provide food, shelter and security for the poor. Good shepherd, give wisdom and strength to all those caring for children. Thank you that you are with us, and that you hear our prayers, In your name, Amen.
