Agenda Located on the dry erase board. List of assignments for the day. In general it will consist of Openers/Bell work and Classwork.

Openers/Bell Work Due every Friday or at the end of the week during short weeks. You must have all openers to receive full credit. Openers must be labeled with the date. If you are absent you must make up the opener to receive full credit. Openers are posted daily on the dry erase board and my website. Openers can also be found in my notebook.

Class Work/Daily Work Daily work is due by the following class period. All daily work must be completed to get full credit. Daily work will be checked for completeness not correctness at the beginning of the next class period. If you are absent you must make up the daily work to receive full credit. Daily work is posted on the dry erase board and on my website.

Quizzes/Tests A quiz or a test will be given every Friday. Quizzes are worth 100 points and are short answer. Tests are only given at the end of a unit. Test are worth 200 points and are multiple choice. Daily work can be used on quizzes and test.

Finals Finals will be given on the designated day. There are two, the 9 weeks final and the Semester final. Each final is worth 300 points. Daily work and any other notes that you have taken can be used on the final.

Suggestions for Success Come to class on time everyday. Work while you are here. Get a folder or a 3 ring binder to keep all of your work in. If you miss an assignment, make it up as soon as possible. Be prepared for class. If you need help, ASK!

Safety Drill Information Earthquake – shelter in place under a piece of furniture if indoors, if outdoors DROP, COVER AND HOLD ON. Fire – move out to the practice field with the class. Severe Weather – go to the dressing rooms on the southeast side of the sports complex, if we can’t get there then we go to the 600 building. (Don’t forget your helmet!) Lockdown/Lockdown Plus – shelter in place with doors locked and windows covered. If plus, get down on the floor in the middle of the room.
