SKITTLES GAME You will need one sheet of paper, a pencil, the desk dry erase board/marker, a napkin, a few skittles.

1st step: take notes of the meanings of these French adjectives. Notice the spelling differences. Most adjectives in French match the gender of the noun. *Sarah est blonde. Est=is pronounced ay *Bill est blond. Most times the spelling change is simple. Just put an « e » on the end of the feminine Adjective.

gros grosse mince Mince is spelled the same for Masculine or Feminine nouns.

2 nd step: *I will pass out a container of skittles and a napkin. *You will get to decide how many skittles you pour out onto your napkin. *Don’t be stingy. *DO NOT EAT ANY OF THEM YET.

3rd step: *Count your skittles. *Write that number on the top of your notes that you just took off the powerpoint. *Now on the dry erase board with your dry erase marker write one sentence for each skittle you poured out using the adjectives just learned IN FRENCH. *You will write these sentences describing people you know. Family members, students, Etc.

Your board should look something like this: Sarah est blonde. Kelsey est mince. Katelyn est grande. Hugh Jackman est beau et brun. I had 4 skittles. After you are done writing you can enjoy your skittles. We will practice pronouncing these sentences structures as a class.
