3. Install the Deggy control software on your computer and register the Deggy Steel Pen entering the name of the security officer who will handle it. Register and name the Deggy Buttons (tour checkpoints). Place the Deggy Buttons at chosen locations (gates, walls, doors, lamp posts, etc.). Make the appointed tour, touching each Deggy Button with the Deggy Steel Pen (a beep is heard, indicating reception). Download all information using either one of the three forms that follow: Easy to use

4. Interfaces to download data to the Deggy® Control Software The Deggy Control data download interfaces can be used jointly or separately. 1. The Deggy USB Download Station interface is a device that is connected to the USB port of a computer that has the Deggy Control Software. Its purpose is to program Deggy Steel Pens, register Deggy Buttons and transfer data from the Deggy Steel Pen and Deggy Buttons to the Deggy Control Software. 2. The Deggy Supervisor Portable Dowload Station can be used as a portable unit to download data when connected to a car power supply, so that a supervisor may pass by each tour local and download data from all Deggy Steel Pens. Once data from various clients has been collected, they may later be transferred to the Deggy Control Software by connecting the Deggy Supervisor Portable Dowload Station to the computer with a USB cable. 3. The Deggy Web Wireless Download Station can be used as a stationary or portable unit. Data is transmitted without use of cable, via GPRS (data transmission via cellular telephone network). Every time a button or a Pen is downloaded -- as long as there is cellular signal -- data is immediately transferred. Data collected by the Deggy Web Wireless Download Station can be seen via internet by means of the Wireless Viewer Software or, if connected to the internet, downloaded to the Deggy Control Software.

5. Install Deggy Control Software onto your computer. Mount Deggy Buttons on focal points along the tour. Name and register them on your PC. Register the Deggy Steel Pen with a guard or site name. Do the round, touching the Deggy Steel Pen to the checkpoints. Download the Deggy Steel Pen onto the computer and managing tour data.

With the Deggy Control Software you can make a variety of tour reports, including Download reports, Quick reports, Exception reports (pinpointing missed checkpoints), Contract reports, Itinerary reports, Event reports, among others. The Deggy Control Software can be installed on your computer network for multiple user access. With the Deggy Control Software included within your Deggy Control Kit, you can transfer data and create reports on network computers. You can easily export the Deggy tour reports to Microsoft Word and customize its look.

10. Deggy® Steel Pen The Deggy Steel Pen is a rugged and easy-to-use high tech data collector. Whenever a pen touches a button (checkpoint), it reads a unique internal code within. Every time a Pen reads a button, the button´s serial code, the date and time of contact are all stored within. After having read all buttons, the data is then transferred to the Deggy Control Software, by means of one of the three interfaces: Deggy USB Download Station - Deggy Supervisor Portable Dowload Station - Deggy Web Wireless Download Station. 11. With the Deggy Web Wireless Download Station, data are downloaded and transferred to a central computer via wireless transmission (GPRS - data transmission via cellular telephone network).
