Adding Links to a Page Index School Library Services Page
2
View the Page Index Filter to determine what content is displayed. The Page Index on the Library Services page displays content that meets ALL the following criteria: Content is in the /Curriculum/infoCenters subsite or a child subsite of infoCenters. Content uses the Keyword ES (In the Middle school sites the keywords will be MS, HS and the High School sites will be HS). Page type is Multimedia Files, Registered URL or Uploaded Document.
3
Before registering a URL to the /Curriculum/infoCenters/ subsite consider 2 things. 1.Has the URL already been registered in the system? (http://hqcomspota2.hq.ds.dodea.edu/trainingResources/manageLinks.cfm)http://hqcomspota2.hq.ds.dodea.edu/trainingResources/manageLinks.cfm 2.Does the URL apply to ALL elementary, middle, or high schools (which ever is applicable)? All schools use the same filter on their Library Services page. If the URL has not been registered and doesn’t apply only to one school, register the URL to the /Curriculum/infoCenters/ subsite and give it the Keyword ES, MS and/or HS, whatever is applicable. The link, http://slicclassic.dodea.edu/search~S183, has already been registered in the system AND it only applies to Tarawa Terrace ES so it shouldn’t be registered to display in the Page Index.http://slicclassic.dodea.edu/search~S183

Since the link has already been registered and it applies only to one school add it to the Formatted Text element just above the Page Index element.
