Focusing Ideas When developing a feature ▪ Don’t start with a huge idea like “Missing Children” ▪ Focus on a specific element like “Teenage Runaways” ▪ Then look for a story under that idea ▪ “Mother searches for and finds teenage daughter” ▪ Lack of focus will waste lots of time
