Student course side Students must complete course in order. They are not allowed to skip around. (Unless it’s an IL course) Students can take notes in the course under “eNotes” tab. “eNotes” tab is set up for multiple subjects. Teacher has the option to allow the students to use their “eNotes” on the Assessment. Students are able to copy and paste notes in the “eNotes” tab. Direct Instruction. Teacher video and lesson with PowerPoint. Good for notes. presentations are not printable. Lessons can be stopped, paused, and muted. However, students are not able to fast- forward through their first time watching of the lesson. If the student closes the window it will force them to restart the entire lesson. Students can “mark” their place by backing out to the main menu. Online resources are available in the courses. SOME parts of the course are translatable to Spanish. “Direct Instruction” videos are NOT translatable, but the transcripts of the video lectures ARE translatable. “Headphones” are a read aloud feature that will read aloud any highlighted text. Dropdown box has multiple languages. Teacher can disable language feature. Once a student has started a quiz, they are unable to back out and review any of the course. “Backing out” will submit the quiz. Students are asked twice before they are allowed to back out. They are told it will submit the quiz. Teachers can allow multiple retakes(3-4 retakes is a suggested maximum). Default is 2 opportunities. Questions are drawn from a test bank at random(answers are not randomized). Students can review quizzes and tests at the discretion of the teacher.
