EDS/ HP Operations Orchestration Use Case: Toggle AMS Server 14 Apr 2009 HPOO – Use Case: Toggle AMS Server Problem: Disk space exhausted in the inventory collect directory Cause: Shortage of SAN storage available to be allocated Solution: Because the system was being upgraded, allocating more SAN to a system being decommissioned didn’t make sense, so a workflow was written to handle the problem until the system could be migrated to the new platform. page 2
