3. What is PrimePortal? Module : General This user guide will give you a general introduction to PrimePortal. Due to the fact that PrimePortal always is coupled with #define we will also give you a short introduction to that tool.

4. What is PrimePortal? Module : General PrimePortal and #define are used to obtain increased control and visibility throughout our deliveries at CGI, PrimePortal for the client and #define for the IT-delivery organization. The two tools are tightly integrated with each other.

8. Terminology Module : General Another example is the title of a component, System information could be called Project status instead The terminology in the portal is dynamic One example of that is the tab names. In this case Orders could be named Tickets instead

9. Integrations Module : General Client CGI #define PrimePortal OneITSM CustomerFirst CGI PrimePortal has a number of integrations in place against CGI’s systems such as #define, OneITSM and CustomerFirst for example. The client therefore only need one tool to view and monitor the delivery.

10. Components Module : General PrimePortal contains a selection of components which are added and configured according to the client/delivery demands. The components are role-based and customizable. Some examples coming up.

Every portal has a client specific URL, which has the following format: https://.primeportal.com where, = Name selected by the client/delivery For example: https://demo.primeportal.com https://atlascopco.primeportal.com https://schenker.primeportal.com URL & Languages Module : General PrimePortal is multilingual, today supported in English, Dutch, French & Swedish. 16. Navigation Navigation via vertical Quick Launch Bar A Home page tab is always visible on each portal. The home page usually displays general information regarding the delivery. The navigation structure is dynamic and can be configured in various ways. The user navigates via the horizontal Tabs or the left- hand Quick Launch Bar. 17. PrimePortal supports different types of authentication: 1. Local user accounts 2. CGI users 3. OneITSM users Local user accounts The account is stored in PrimePortals Active Directory (AD) The portals user administrator can create and administer the accounts CGI users A trust is setup towards CGI’s user catalogue, which enables users to login with their windows (groupinfra) account information OneITSM users A trust is setup towards Remedy’s user catalogue, which enables users to login with their Remedy (groupsvcs) account information Module : General Authentication

18. Permission groups are possible to define as per function levels. A function could be a component, tab, a sub-level page or a page content. Authority groups are basically defined in two categories: By default groups These groups are defined while creating the portal itself They are defined on function read read & write Self defined groups The client can request new groups apart from default groups Module : General Role-based permissions
