The Dallas County HHW Program is a voluntary cooperative venture created to provide household hazardous waste management activities for area cities through a series of interlocal agreements.

Just because it’s “household” doesn’t mean it’s non-hazardous Household hazardous waste (HHW) has the same hazardous qualities as industrial hazardous waste. TOXIC CORROSIVE FLAMMABLE REACTIVE

HHW is sooooo boring...... Paint comprises 40% of the more than 2 Million pounds of waste collected each year through the Dallas County HHW Program.

Training Dallas County maintains a trained chemist on site at all times to identify unknowns and assure that collected items are properly segregated.
