Career and Technical Education Preparation for the future of tomorrow… Fulfills interest in a particular field Provides practical experience and a jump-start on a career Hands-on learning environment For students not planning on attending college Provides training Leads to certification in a vocational field Students may apply credits earned in a vocational high school program toward a two-year or four-year degree Station II (ACTE, 2015).

10. Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity are interwoven throughout UDL; thus, creating a curriculum in which that all students can contribute according to his/her strengths and abilities. Reading, writing, and arithmetic are also integrated throughout the curriculum by UDL and through technology. Students knowledgeable with media and technology skills in combination with the 4Cs and 3Rs will gain the experience and education in life and career skills through their involvement in CTE schools.
