2. You can perform a Basic, Power, Visual or Destiny Quest search You can search by: Keyword, Title, Author, Subject, and Series.

3. Accessing Destiny from Home or School Go to the school’s homepage Click on library online Choose the High School Library www.stanleyboyd.k12.wi.us

4. Basic Search Click on the Catalog tab Type search term(s) in the Find box & press return for a keyword search or click on the type of search: Keyword, Title, Author, Subject or Series

5. Search Results Click on heading in the green bar (bread crumb trail) to access previous screen. If there is no heading in green bar, click browser Back button. Use Refine your search to correct or edit search term(s)

6. Search Results Click on Details to learn more about book Each entry shows how many copies of an item we own, and how many are available

7. Book Details Provides book summary, page and illustration information Lists book’s subjects, author and series and provides access to other books and items on that subject Often gives reading, grade level & interest level

8. Power Search Enter multiple search terms using multiple fields Select AND, OR, NOT Select All, Any of the words or Exact phrase Limit by Location, Material Type, Publication Year & Circulation Type

9. Visual Search Click on topic Click on subtopic

10. Visual Search Click on desired item for details

11. Destiny Quest Click on Catalog tab Click on Destiny Quest Click on Begin Your Destiny Quest

12. Searching Destiny Quest Type search term(s) in the Find box & press Go!

13. Searching Destiny Quest If you get too many results you can narrow your search by: Author Subject Genre Series Date Number of pages Language

14. Searching Destiny Quest The breadcrumbs track shows how you narrowed your search To get Quick Details hover over the cover For more information click on the cover or More link

15. Searching Destiny Quest To add a title to your list, drag cover & drop into My List or click on Add to List

16. Searching Destiny Quest Click on Shelf Browse or the call number to see what is shelved nearby Move the slider to the right or left to move up & down the shelf
