Fort AP Hill, VA 26 June – 1 July The Army is the primary landpower arm of our Nation’s Armed Forces. It exists to serve the American people, protect enduring national interests, and fulfill the Nation’s military responsibilities. This is America’s Army.

Objectives Safe, healthy, fun training environment that is both physically and mentally challenging Provide hands-on training designed to develop leadership, discipline, teamwork and self-confidence Provide adventure training not normally available on campus Enable cadets to practice leadership in a challenging environment Participate in citizenship-building exercises Exercise living and interacting with peers in a military setting Recreate and have fun! Highlights Day 1 (Fri 26 June): Inspection at CFHS (9:00 AM), bus ride to Ft AP Hill, in-process, form up into squads, move into barracks/dorms Days 2-4: Opening ceremony, round-robin training events during the day and sports events in the evenings Day 5: Drill competition and picnic Day 6 (Wed 1 July): Clear barracks, closing ceremony, bus ride back to CFHS, clean and turn in individual equipment, released (about noon) Our current responsibilities briefed by Doug are consuming our readiness as fast as we can build it. From Northern VA/DC using I‐95 South: I‐95 South to Exit 104 Turn left onto State Route 207 East After approximately 12 miles, State Rte 207 turns into U.S. Rte 301 North Watch for Fort A.P.
