OPTION 2 – Program Manager Uses Microsoft Calendar for Reminders Pros: Easy to use One time set-up will ensure continuous reminders to you

OPTION 2 – Program Manager Uses Microsoft “Calendar” for Reminders Cons: Program Manager still is responsible for getting it done. Reminders can be deleted and no further action can result. Only “reminds” the user.

The ANNUAL REPORT is due by the end of your anniversary month of your Recognition. Officially Recognized on July 18, of the current year, then the Annual Report is due by the end of July each of the next three years. (Not the same as your Annual Fee date. Annual Fee Date and Recognition Date are different.)

ANNUAL REPORT Designed to ensure you are still meeting Recognition Program requirements. Full Annual Report consists of: Annual Report Form (download) Copies of any Policy Changes used to prove Compliance with a Standard Copies of Annual Analyses and Property Room Inventory

Questions ask if your have made any Policy Changes Only Policies that were used as proof of compliance for a standard needs to be submitted for review. If a portion of a policy is changed and that part was not used as a proof of compliance, it does not have to be reported or included.

Example: You originally submitted part of your “Employee Relations” policy to show proof that you meet the standards on promotions. This year, your changed a part of the “Employee Relations” policy which addresses providing educational incentive pay. You do NOT report this as a “change” or include a copy with the report because the part of the policy dealing with promotions was not changed.

In Addition to copies of any policies used as proofs of compliance with standards, you must also submit: Copy of your latest Use of Force Analysis Copy of your latest Pursuit Analysis Copy of your latest Accident and Injury Analysis Proof of you Annual Property Room Inventory

Proof of Annual Property Room Inventory Does not need to be complete inventory sheets Can be a memo, addresses to the Chief Executive Memo includes, who conducted the inventory, the method used, the results, and signed off by the Chief Executive.
