Reducing Traffic and Improving Road Safety Around School We had the initiative because every day around our school, all of the students, teachers or any person who comes here has to take one of the entrances to the school, and both streets have mobility and vial security problems. The first one is traffic, a lot of cars and buses arrive at the same time, and we have just two streets to get to school. The second one is vial security. It is difficult for pedestrians to walk safely. These problems are most frequent in the mornings when all of us need to commute fast, causing more accidents. Many of these incidents are caused by people being distracted.

Objectives The principal objectives of our project are: - To make students aware of better strategies regarding mobility and road security. - That the students and their parents apply the tips given by us and support our campaign to create a scholar transportation. Our campaign is based in mini conferences that we gave in every classroom of our school where we talked about security around the high school and we gave some tips and examples of what to do and what not to do in order to improve mobility and security.

The Results After reading the results of the surveys, many students are interested on the possibility of having school transportation. We are presenting this proposal to the school authorities and hopefully we can soon give a real solution to our mobility and vial security problems.
