Ephesians 1 – we have been blessed with EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING in the HEAVENLY REALMS IN CHRIST :  we are loved  holy & blameless (without fault)  adopted into his (royal) family  Given his grace (empowering) to live  Forgiven of our sins  Free from the power of sin  He showers His kindness, wisdom & understanding on us M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

3. Ephesians 1 Christ has all authority & is the head over all things for the benefit of the Church. And the Church is His BODY (v.22) M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

4. Ephesians 2 - The GOSPEL You don’t get good to get God, You get God then you do good For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 9. Ephesians 3 The MYSTERY of the Gospel – Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

15. we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. (Eph 4:15) M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

16. Each of us has responsibility to find our place in the Body of Christ, the place in which God has designed us to function, where we will be at our most effective. M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

17. Balance between Sunday & Monday church Without powerful Sunday church, our Monday church expressions will likely lack the PURPOSE & EFFECTIVENESS required. Both must work in harmony - it should never be ‘either/or’ M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

18. Sunday church worship is about lifting up our hands, Monday church worship is about reaching our hands OUT. SC is about discipling people, MC church is about demonstrating the gospel in the community. SC is about revelation, MC is about activation SC is built by Eph 4:11 giftings, MC is built by the whole congregation doing their part. M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT

SC is about teaching & equipping, MC is about doing SC is about coming together, MC is about going SC feeds us so we can grow, MC feeds others so they can live SC is about growing in faith, MC is about going to the faithless. SC is about coming together as family, MC is about going to the fatherless

20. Eph 4:11 Purpose of five-fold ministers - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors- teachers to equip, facilitate & mobilize every believer in the Body of Christ to do the work of the ministry & reach maturity in Christ M.E 2 MAKE EVERY EFFORT
