2. o The telephone was invented in the year 1870. o Over the years the phone has changed. o The appearance of it has drastically changed, as well as the way to use it.

3. o A telephone is a system of communication that people use to have a conversation with someone in another place. o The telephone is used for communicating, and many businesses use it, families and schools, etc.

4. oAoAlexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. oWoWhen the phone was invented, there were two versions, one by Alexander Graham, and the other one was by Elisha Gray. oToThey entered a famous legal battle over who would be the inventor of the phone, and Alexander Graham Bell won.

5. oToThe importance of the invention of the phone was that it is very helpful for businesses and emergencies. oFoFor example now a days offices and work places use telephones everyday. Also for emergencies, the phone has been used for calls to the police, etc. and it has saved many lives.
