Schizophrenia ( the cancer of psychology) literal translation “split mind” Split from reality

Schizophrenia Symptoms include: 1. Delusions false beliefs, often of persecution or grandeur, that may accompany psychotic disorders 2. Hallucinations sensory experiences without sensory stimulation (usually auditory)

Symptoms include: 3. Disorganized thoughts yBizarre & distorted yIn-selective attention 4. Disorganized speech/incoherent (word salad) 5. Inappropriate emotion & action Examples: yFlat or zombie like, state of apathy yLaugh about gramdma’s death yRocking or repeated rubbing
