3. 1.Arrive @ 8:20 am 2.Unpack homework folder & hang belongings up 3.Breakfast or Bell Ringer 4.Child is tardy @ 8:50 am *** Please make sure your child knows whether he or she is allowed to eat breakfast.

4. Your child has an opportunity to earn an award each nine weeks for: Perfect Attendance (misses 0 days) Faithful Attendance (misses 1 day or has 1 tardy) Classroom Contests based on Attendance

5. 1.Lunch is @ 11:50am 2.Recess is no longer after lunch. 3.If you’re going to join your child for lunch, please let the office know that morning.

6. The blue homework folder is a MUST! Please be sure that it comes each morning and will be returned each evening! Homework Folder holds the following: Special Schedule & Contact Info. (front of folder) Weekly Newsletter (back of folder) Monthly Behavior Chart (Inside left pocket & stays in that pocket at all times)

7. 10 Minutes Per Night Monday: Read --Weekly Reading Story Tuesday: Handwriting Practice Page Wednesday: Spelling Practice & Study Words Spelling Test is on Thursdays Thursday: Everyday Math Skills Page *** All Homework will be collected on Friday Morning

8. Grades (A: 93-100, B: 85-92, C: 75-84, D: 65-74 or F: 64 & below) Math ELA (overall grade) Reading Writing, Language, Spelling Art, Music & Gym (S= Satisfactory or O= Outstanding)

Monday: Child receives badge, pencil & gets to take classroom digital camera home to take up to 10 pictures of his/her favorite things, places, people, hobbies, extracurricular activities, etc. Tuesday: Child brings in 5-7 family pictures to share with class and display on the “Student of the Week” bulletin board. Wednesday: Child gets to pick 3 friends to eat lunch with us in our classroom. Thursday: Child shares “ME” poster with class. Friday: Camera returns & child shares pictures with our class!

During the First Week of School, the following items need turned in: 1.Packet of Information (emergency card, etc) 2.“ME” Poster (Picture of child in the “This is Me” box 3.Parent/Student Survey 4.Water Bottle 5.Hat & Sunglasses (optional & stored in book bag) 6.Blue Homework Folder (every day)
