7. MIDDLE SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY Middle School is designed to be a bridge between elementary and high school, the ‘tween’ years. The majority of our faculty members are involved in leading at least one extra-curricular activity. Over three-fourths of our students participate in extra-Curricular activities.

32. TIPS FOR SUCCESS Reassure your child that it’s normal to have concerns about change and the unknown. Tour the school with your child. Teach your child how to open a master-lock style combination. Attend Open House prior to school starting; pick up your child’s schedule, visit their classrooms, meet their teachers, and get their locker combination.

33. TIPS FOR SUCCESS, CONT. Encourage your child to join an athletic or academic extra- curricular activity. Keep in contact with your child’s teachers throughout the year.  Use Teeland’s website.  Get in a set routine for daily homework.  Sign up for i-Parent to access information.
