Closure Persuasive writing can take on many forms including sermons, political speeches, newspaper editorials, and advertisements. YOU are persuaded to do things everyday and you might not even know it! What examples can you recall from just today?

Homework: choose 1 Visit www.americanrhetoric.com and look up a leader and their speech. Print it off and write a compare/contrast from your leader and Edwards.www.americanrhetoric.com -OR Clip an advertisement or newspaper story that persuaded you and compare/contrast it to Edwards’ sermon.
