4. Main goal: Joining the efforts of the higher educational Institutions providing Forestry education in the Finno-Ugric countries and RF regions in order to increase the quality of education. 6. The Council’s structure  The Council members are Rectors (Directors) or two representatives from each Institution.  The Secretariat is coordinating all the activities and is located in Syktyvkar (at SFI).  The Council is held once a year, where the hosting Institution is heading the event.  Thematic groups, named by the Council, prepare the problematic issues considered at the Council discussions.
