1 Lesson Plan Objective: The student will be able to analyze modernism and post-modernism, and they will be able to talk about the movements in their own words, as well they will articulate which one is more beneficial than the other.

2 Materials  Modern and Post Modern photo Slides  An outline defining both Eras  Acrylic paint, Oil Paint  Canvas  Random Found Objects. For example plastic bottles, cartons, metal, and other disposable items at home that students can bring for their project  Different types of glues.  Magazines with post- modernism and modernism art with illustrative ideas for the students

Separate class in half: one will be creating works in the modernist frame of mind, while the other group will be working in a postmodern mode.
