2. 2 Overview When AT enter the Idle State Protocol monitor state, the OMP is activated, according to HRPD specification, AT can start listen to the CC in time to receive Overhead message Assumption for this contribution –Duel mode AT supports dual Rx –AT can receive some overhead parameters through tunnel mode Through SIB8 and Through tunneled Unicast message –AT can also receive HRPD overhead messages when OMP is activated Objection: –Define OMP procedure to support duel Rx AT while AT is camp on LTE –Point out area that require FFS

3. 3 Proposal Handle the HRPD overhead messages –How the overhead parameters are stored is FFS. –Proposed overhead parameters received from HRPD overhead messages and HRPD received defined through C.S00867 are stored in different memory location Handling OverheadParametersUpToDate parameter –Since the HRPD parameters can be received from HRPD overhead messages or from proposed SIB8/tunneled unicasted message, how to handle this parameter is FFS Handle the redirection field from QuickConfig message –disable the redirection when AT is in tunnel mode is FFS Handle the RouteUpdateTriggerCodes –Does not want AT to send unnecessary RouteUpdate messages during tunnel mode When in tunnel mode, disable the routeupdatetirggercode feature is for FFS

4. 4 Proposal Handling of Supervision timer If supervision timer is activate, when expire, OMP will generate a SupervisionFailed indication and ALMP will goes to Initialization state (from Idle state). When ALMP goes to Initialization state, it will issue ISP.Activate and in term activate Initialization state protocol and start network determination procedure –This could happen when AT move away from the boarder. propose to make ALMP Inactive when supervision timer failed or disable supervision timer during tunnel mode is FFS Does not change
