 See important details about the company including:  website  on-line application address  typical majors recruited  address/contact information  Jobs: Openings that employers have posted where interviews will be held off- campus or virtually (Skype)  Schedules: Openings that employers participating in the On-Campus Recruitment Program have posted where interviews are held in The Career Center  Events: Any open houses, information sessions, or other events being held by the employer (on- OR off-campus)

 Basic Search: Keyword, Position Type, or Major (more specific means less results…start with a broad search and narrow from there)  Results shown in 3 tabs: HireLOYOLA positions, Internships.com positions, and Indeed Jobs

 Advanced Search: Post date, expiration date, industry, job function, degree required, organization name, job location  Start broad to achieve the maximum number of opportunities.  Please note: Using the advanced search function will greatly narrow your results

 Position Type: Choose specific types of positions to search. (For example, clicking “Internship,” “Internship-College Credit” and “Internship- Paid” will return all positions that have been labeled Internship)  Employers list positions differently, it is important to select all positions types that you are interested in to return the most relevant results

 Any requirements of the posting that are not met will be highlighted at the top of the post  Postings contain all the basic information about the position  Pay attention to the “How to Apply” section and follow all instructions  Please Note: not all employers will have you apply through HireLOYOLA

If the employer is conducting interviews on- campus through the On- Campus Recruitment Program, the schedule number will appear next to “Linked Schedule”

 You can add a position to your favorites, view linked schedules, and forward the position to a friend

 If all position requirements are met and the appropriate documents are uploaded, use the “Apply” button to submit your application  Select the appropriate documents and click “Apply”

 “Interview Schedules” is where you will find all On- Campus Recruitment Program positions and postings  In order to participate in this program, all requirements must be met (required workshops, resume critiqued by a Career Advisor)  “VIEW ALL Upcoming Interviews” is a schedule of all upcoming on-campus interviews. You CANNOT apply to positions through this schedule  “Sign-up for Interviews I qualify for” filters all current openings and allows you to apply for those for which you qualify

 Application period opens  Application period closes  Employers will select candidates to interview by this date  Interview sign-up for those selected candidates begins  Interview sign-up closes

 Keyword Search: Search alumni mentor profiles based on keyword. (For example, enter “English” to search alumni who majored in English)  Please note: Not all alumni choose an industry in their profile. The most effective way to search the network is by keyword  Please contact The Career Center if you have trouble reaching a mentor in the network
