Still Life Drawing In this drawing, the most important thing is using both white and black charcoal and how hard the charcoal is being pushed onto the paper. This will give the picture more depth, and seem more 3 dimensional, although it is a 2 dimensional drawing.
3
I-Pad Transportation Image This was originally a picture of a blue and gold toy car with a white back-drop. However, after being put into photo-shop and the use of copying and pasting certain parts of the picture, an abstract image was created. The composition of blue and gold allowed for these contrasting colors to complimenting each other.
4
Silk Screen Print This print started off as a tracing of two overlapping hands. However, to add a abstract and seem similar to pop art, the hands and nails were bright colors. The edges of the hands were fixed later on with a small paint brush to make the overall artwork clean.
5
Clay Silhouette Face Sculpture This Face Sculpture was created out of foam board, and inspired by the Disney princess Cinderella. Both the shape and the colors were completely inspired by Cinderella. By giving the face delicate features such as eyelashes and lips, the overall sculpture appears more detailed and the face is more graceful.
6
Five Tonal Drawing - Flower The drawing of this flower was done by sectioning the paper and drawing small square portions of the flower individually. This style of drawing allows the artist to draw exactly as the picture shows, instead of incorporating their own ideas into the drawing.
7
Color Theory Painting - Complimentary The use of complimentary colors in a painting makes the abstract painting have more contrast and become more attractive to the audience. The complimentary colors were mixed with different amounts of white to have variations of compliments and contrast throughout the painting.
8
Color Theory Painting - Achromatic Achromatic art appears to be more dull than those with colors. In order to make the painting not seem dull, a variety of techniques including pasting paper, and scratching the paint, was used to give variation within the painting.
9
Color Theory Painting - Tetrad A painting that incorporates a tetrad color scheme makes the painting seem abstract, and the colors compliment each other very well. The bright colors and bits of 3 Dimension gives the painting more depth.
10
Color Theory Painting - Triad The three dimensional elements in both the tetrad and triad paintings are made with special types of paints. The color from the triad drawing is made from a triangle on the color wheel that are meant to compliment each other without using complimentary colors.
11
Clay – Own Choice Piece This clay sculpture is a simple bowl. However, by making the bowl a light and delicate color, there is a more childish feel to the bowl, especially with the light blue pastel dots. Though it is a simple bowl, the use of pastel on the bowl gives it a more interesting feel.
12
Wire Sculpture This wire sculpture is of a bird standing on one leg. Although it wasn’t the original intention, the bird is not extremely steady because it only has one leg. In a way, this represents humans, because without full support and care from others, it is impossible for someone to be successful.
13
2D Choice Painting Acrylic paint was used to paint these flowers. In the painting, both warm and cool colors are incorporated in order to provide a contrast. The flowers are a representation of humans, although they are each different looking, they are still all appreciated. In each flower, there was added a dash of silver or gold to represent each person’s spark and talents that shine through to others.

2D Choice Drawing On an extremely large black sheet of paper, small colorful fruit was drawn in the center. The pop of color that the fruit has represents the brightness in a dark situation, or the light at the end of the tunnel, especially since fruit is sweet and colorful.
