Raisin Brain- Yo daily dose of brain By – Collin Gibbs and Caelyn Elwin 3 rd period *CAUTION- powerpoint presentation will be approximately 10 minutes long

Lets talk about the exterior brain Frontal lobe- The frontal lobe is located in the front of the brain. The frontal lobe is responsible for your emotion and your personality. So really when you say you're “you” you're referring to a mushy gray spot of wrinkles located in the front of your head. The frontal lobe is also responsible for things such as memory and language. It decides what you will make for breakfast and if youll have milk or juice. The Broca- Part of frontal lobe controlling speech

Some more outside brain Parietal Lobe- The parietal lobe is located above the occipital lobe The parietal lobe is used to help you recognize your outside world. It lets you taste, be aware of temperature, and touch. So you can put a coat on cause you're cold, then touch it and realize its warm and then lick it too. All of this comes from the parietal lobe. Gang

BTW- im still talking about the outside Temporal Lobe- The temporal lobe right here It helps with auditory processing Aka your hearing Right hear No east Paudling

1-800-HOTLINE-BRAIN Occipital lobe- The occipital lobe allows you to process what you're seeing and rely it back. It is the fastest working lobe of the brain. For example whenever your eyes see Drake slinging out brains, it processes that and then lets you know that its drake.

Brain Bucketzz Motor Area- The motor area is most responsible for all of your bodies motor functions. It receives information from all the past lobes with discussed and then makes it happen. Sensory Area- The sensory area has to main parts. The primary sensory cortex and the secondary. The primary cortex is where information is first sent to translate information received from your 5 senses

Brains interior Pons- Pons are important because they are the transfer station of the brain, transferring information from cortex and cerebellum. Pons are also where dreams occur during sleep. Pons sit right below the medulla oblongata (hold up you gonna know what that is too) and connects the upper brain to the lower. Dreaming of an A+

SUP Cerebellum- The cerebellum is located in the back of the skull in vertebrae. Its function is to coordinate and regulate muscle activity. The cerebellum is even located in animals. Brain

Cerebruhm Cerebrum- In the cerebrum almost all of your brains major functions occur such as imagination, thought, judgment, and perception. Scientist believe the cerebrum is the newest evolutionary adaptation of our brains. The surface of the cerebrum is the cerebral cortex Cerebral Cortex- Made up of over 10 billion neurons and 50 billion synpases.

Medulla Oblongrattata Medulla Oblongata- The Medulla Oblongata is the lowest part of the brain stem and is responsible for being the control center of the heart and lungs.

Pituitary Gland looks a little weird This the location *Disclaimer- I did not say anything inappropriate

What do they do though? Pituitary Glands- It is a major endocrine gland. (Please take into account the previous image when listening to definition) It is a pea (pee) sized body attached to the base of the brain. It is important in controlling growth and development (Google) *Disclaimer- I did not say anything inappropriate

Thalamus The thalamus in located under the cerebral cortex and is in control of the brains sleep and wake cycles. Since it reduces perception and responds to sensory information and blocks out sounds during your sleep so you do not wake up The thalamus also controls a pain perception and relays signals to the cerebral cortex, acting almost as a midline between receiving information and comprehending it.

Limbo System Limbic System- The limbic system is a diverse amount of nerves in different areas of the brain.. It consist of everything above The limbic system controls basic emotion like pleasure and fear as well as drives like hunger, sex, and dominance.
