15. HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF A SHOE (GO OVER BASICS 1 ST ) You are from the year 2054 and you are a historian doing research on those that lived in the year 2014. You discover some shoes that give you some information about the year 2014. Take a look at the shoes placed in the front of the class. Select one shoe and complete the brainstorm. Brainstorm ideas about where the shoe has been, who the owner is, the purpose of the shoe, and anything that the shoe might reveal about the owner and the year 2014. Look for evidence on the shoe, do not just look at the style of the shoe, but look for dirt, rips, do they look like new. Think about why the person might have worn the shoe.

16. A DAY IN THE LIFE- 2014 Write a paragraph that describes a day in the life of the shoe owner. Try to be historically accurate. Write as if you are historian conducting research and you are from the year 2054. List evidence for why you think the person who wore the shoe lived as you have interpreted it. Example- The shoes have high heels and sparkles. I think the person wore the shoes to a fancy party.
